The operational reality

Where disconnected processes create cost and risk.

We start with the day-to-day work that determines service, margin, compliance and management visibility.

  • AI pilots are disconnected from operational systems
  • Use cases are chosen without clear value or process ownership
  • Permissions, testing and escalation are not designed early
  • Teams cannot measure whether agents complete useful work

What is Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales?+
Copilot in Dynamics 365 Sales is an AI assistant that helps sellers work with CRM information. It can summarize sales records, highlight recent changes, help sellers prepare for meetings and answer natural-language questions about leads, accounts and opportunities that the signed-in user is permitted to access.
What is the difference between a sales Copilot and a sales agent?+
A sales Copilot responds to a seller’s request and provides assistance, summaries or insights. A sales agent can work on a defined sales process more independently, such as researching leads, evaluating qualification criteria, preparing outreach or identifying opportunity risks. The scope and level of autonomy depend on the selected agent and its configuration.
What AI agents are available in Dynamics 365 Sales?+
Microsoft documents agents including the Sales Qualification Agent, Sales Opportunity Agent, Sales Close Agent, Sales Research Agent and Recommended Actions Agent. Microsoft also provides a Sales agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Availability, release status, geography, language, capacity and licensing vary across these capabilities.
How does the Sales Qualification Agent help sales teams?+
The Sales Qualification Agent can research assigned leads, assess whether leads match defined criteria and prepare outreach emails. Its research-and-engage mode can also send outreach, follow up with leads, evaluate responses and hand promising leads to sellers according to configured handoff rules. Microsoft states that the agent is designed to assist rather than replace seller judgment.
How does the Sales Opportunity Agent help sellers manage deals?+
The Sales Opportunity Agent combines information from CRM records, emails, meetings and web research to provide a consolidated view of an opportunity. It can identify potential risks, highlight deal momentum, surface buyer needs and stakeholder information, and recommend actions for seller consideration.
Can sales agents communicate directly with prospects?+
Certain agent modes can prepare or send customer communications according to their configuration. For example, the Sales Qualification Agent’s research-and-engage mode can send and follow up on outreach, while the Sales Close Agent is designed for automated engagement in high-velocity, lower-complexity sales scenarios. Customer-facing actions should use approved content, monitoring, escalation and human-control policies.
Can Copilot and sales agents access information outside Dynamics 365 Sales?+
Supported sales capabilities can combine CRM information with approved Microsoft 365 sources such as email and meeting information, and some agents can use authorized web research. The exact sources depend on the product, agent, user permissions, licensing, configuration and geographic availability.
Do Copilot and sales agents require additional licensing or capacity?+
Licensing and capacity requirements vary by capability. Microsoft advises customers to check the applicable Dynamics 365 licensing requirements, while agents such as the Sales Opportunity Agent and Sales Close Agent use capacity assigned to the tenant through prepaid or pay-as-you-go arrangements.

Recommended scope note: Copilot and agent availability varies by Dynamics 365 Sales licence, geography, language, release status and tenant capacity. Some agents or modes may be preview features. Customer-facing actions should be introduced with appropriate testing, approved messaging and human oversight.
